Briscoe's brewery in Otley has been brewing for 20 years and is now the oldest operational brewery in the Leeds area. To mark the anniversary, Paul brewed a 5.2% ale called "XX" which he is enjoying in the photo below.

Craft Asylum opens in the former Candlebar at Granary Wharf. It's a venture from Ossett brewery/Salt beer factory. There will be a 2nd Craft Asylum opening on East Parade at the end of the month.
North Brewing Co Tap Room opens on 23rd November at Sovereign St. There will be
24 taps to choose from.
Just outside the city in Meanwood, Ridgeside brewery Tap Room launches on 1st December from 2pm.
Changes in store for Yates on Boar Lane as it is to close and re-open in December as branch of Slug and Lettuce.
Meanwood brewery have opened their Tap Room and is called Terminus. 4 hand pulls dispense their beers, on the opening day they had a oak aged porter and an IPA on.
Another change of venue to report is the new Malt Brewhouse which has opened up in what was Bar166 in Horsforth. 6 cask ales with Horsforth and Leeds brewery beers as regulars. There will be a microbrewery built in the premises due in January.
