Frisky Bear Brewery have expanded production, so hopefully we will see them out and about a bit more. A good place to catch their beers is Oscars in Morley where 3-4 can be expected.
As one pub opens another closes - opening Beehive (Thorner), closing Bird in Hand (Garforth), opening hopefully soon a Wetherspoons (Austhorpe Road), closing The Waiting Room (city centre).

Real Ale has made an appearance at Upstairs Downstairs, that's the new name for Sid's Little Egg.
The Rising Sun was a fine pub in it's day, after being derelict for several years it looks like it's going to come back to life, not as a pub but as a coffee shop. The new owners are well aware of the listed status of many of the fixtures and fittings and are going to be incorporating these features in their design.
... and finally one from the Keighley area. The long standing tenants of the Burlington Arms are going to be leaving the pub after nearly 39 years there. So pop along and have a drink before the end of the month as it may be your last chance to drink Timothy Taylors real ales served through electric pumps.
The photo above is the newly opened cafe - bar based in Yeadon. It sells a selection of 2 to 3 of the Naylor's brewery beers and a guest ale.
Anthology Brewing Co have set up in a unit on Armley Rd, Leeds with a 2.5BBL kit producing unfined beers such as US Session Pale IPA, Cocoa Stout and others. There is a bar for monthly open days as shown on the photo below.
