Quirky Ales brewery have installed a new 2.5BBL kit which will increase capacity. On Aug 27 they celebrate the first anniversary of their Tap Room.
The photo below is our recent presentation to Anton Stark of Harrogate Brewing Co with the award of Beer of the Leeds Camra Festival as voted by the customers. It was Plum Infused Imperial Stout and is a variant of Kursaal Imperial Stout which won a Silver award at last years Beer X. It was infused with Yorkshire grown plums to the standard recipe.
North Brewing Co's Transmission was named best IPA at the Imbibe Live trade show which gets the beer a listing in some Mitchell & Butler pubs.
Wapentake, a bar and cafe which is on Kirkgate in Leeds has won our June pub of the month award. They have 3 local real ales on the bar as well as a range of Yorkshire beers in bottles and a bakery as well. Katie is handing the award to Anton, owner of this bar.
