7th-11th GREAT BRITISH BEER FESTIVAL
The Great British Beer Festival is returning to London this summer - 7th-11th August at London Olympia - and tickets are now on sale!
Organised and run by the Campaign for Real Ale, the Great British Beer Festival is one of the biggest, most exciting and well-known events on the beer and cider calendar. With over 900 real ales, ciders and perries and one-off speciality brews, this year's festival is not to be missed.

Canal Walk Social
Rodley Barge, Town St, Rodley, LS13 1HP
This walking social will take a steady pace following the Leeds – Liverpool Canal towpath taking in the following pubs: The Rodley Barge; The Abbey Inn, Newlay; Kirkstall Bridge Inn and on to the Cardigan Arms. A total of 4.7miles of level walking, fantastic ales and beautiful views.
You watch, it will flipping rain now I have said that.
Transport – Frequent buses, 760 or 16 to Rodley from the city centre approx. every 30mins.With 33, 49, 508, 757, 760 from Kirkstall back to town.

Brewdog Branch Meeting

Its our monthly branch meeting. But for the first time ever A CAMRA branch is holding it in a Brewdog!?! Come along and share your views, are CAMRA with moving with the times or just like your dad dancing to grime? Come along and help us shine a light on all that is great local beer in our area.

Leeds City centre has more than 80 real ale selling pubs and bars. But how much beer is there and is it up to much? Join us at our hub, the Brewery Tap from 7pm as we spilt up into teams and hit the whole flippin lot in one night. For Science!

Meet in East of Arcadia 2pm, pop into Alfred around 3pm for a pint then head to Hungry Bear at circa 4pm,. Hungry Bear will give a brewery (ish) tour. A buffet will be available to those happy to book in advance with me (menu and cost TBC shortly, contact firstname.lastname@example.org). Then head over to Terminus, the soon to be open Meanwood Brewery place for a couple a few hours later, this should leave plenty of scope for people transport options.
Transport: Every 10 minutes from Duke St.
Titanic Brewery Coach Trip
Departs Bus Stop nr Duck and Drake Kirkgate.
Plum Porter from Titanic Brewery won Beer of the Festival at this years Leeds CAMRA Beer Festival. A fantastically popular beer and a worthy winner. We plan to run a coach trip to the Brewery in order to present the victors their award. Whilst we are there we will undertake a brewery tour, enjoy 3 free pints and lunch laid on all for £25.

We will have time to hook up with Potters CAMRA for a tour of a few of the finest local ale houses before returning to Leeds.
The coach will depart from outside the Duck and Drake on Kirkgate at 10:00am on October 6th.
The coach will leave from Stoke at 7:00pm, location TBC to arrive back in at the Duck and Drake circa 10:00pm. This trip is open to any CAMRA members and guests are welcome. We have up to 49 seats available and need at least 26 folks to run the trip.
Using Crowdfunder means people can book their seats online, with full confidence that it the trip is cancelled or fails to happen for any reason, then their money will come straight back to their bank account without any fuss. We are happy to accept bookings in person or at events, ask for the Social Sec or Treasurer.
