Oakwood has a couple of absolute little gems, within spitting distance of the Oakwood Clock and public transport. So here is a long overdue trip.
Meet in Stew & Oyster Oakwood at 19:30 before ambling down the road to Preston Bar at approx 20:30.
Oakwood is well served by the 12, 13 and 13A buses running from the Corn Exchange every 10-15 minutes.

Join us to help spread the word about the upcoming Leeds CAMRA Beer Festival. Drop in for a fist full or advertising beer mats, flyers and posters to distribute about the pubs and bars, restaurants and clubs, butchers, bakers and candlestick makers across both the city and whole Leeds area..... Spread the word and shout it from the rooftops.....Or just drop in for a pint, why not?

Come visit the revitalised Penda's Arms, flying high after a refurb and with a new team at the helm. Scooping up our Pub of the Month award very early on, if you dont know this place, you will soon. Presentation from 20:00.

Festival Setup Social

Set up at the Leeds CAMRA Beer Festival is thirsty work, with 150 ales to rack and tap, but not a drop to drink (till Thursday). Well lets see about that. Following completion of setup (times will be a little rough) at the Festival we will wander on down Old Road in Farsley down to the The Old Hall At Farsley, followed by The Fleece at Farsley. As always this is open to everyone, whether you helped at the Beer Festival Setup or not.

Leeds CAMRA Beer Festival

The annual Leeds CAMRA Beer Festival returns to the Pudsey Civic Hall for the very last time. With over 150 beers and ciders to choose from this promises to be a last hurrah for this venue. More details can be found here.

The ideal chance to make use of that big bundle of Wetherspoons vouchers that dropped through your door. Its the Spring Beer Festival across the Wetherspoons estate, so how about meeting up in the only 'Spoons in Leeds to be a Good Beer Guide regular, the Stick and Twist! That rare concoction, beer which is both cheap and good; that'll do pig, that'll do.
